Denture
A denture is one or more artificial teeth connected to a base, and this base may be removed from the mouth whenever the wearer wants. If a denture has artificial teeth replacing all the natural teeth that would have been in either the upper or in the lower jaw, then that denture is called a full denture. If, on the other hand, the denture for an upper or lower jaw does not contain all the teeth for that jaw, the denture is called a partial denture.
Like natural teeth, dentures must be brushed every day. However, dentures should also be soaked overnight in a liquid made to disinfect a denture.
