In-Network Dentist

An in-network dentist describes a dentist who has a contractual relationship with the dental plan and participates in its provider network. A dental plan whose benefits are only available (i.e. covered by insurance for reimbursement) through in-network dentists is known as a "closed network." In-network dentists are contrasted with out-of-network dentists.
