Q:
How many times a year can I have my teeth cleaned?
Teeth cleanings are available once every six months or twice per enrolled year.

Additional cleanings are available for a $38 co-payment.


Q: What is work in progress? Is it discounted?
Work in progress is dental work that was started prior to joining the plan. Any dental work started prior to enrollment in the plan is not covered. Any dental procedures performed by a nonparticipating dentist are not covered.


Q: Are cosmetic procedures discounted? If so, what procedures?
Yes. Some providers will offer a discount for implants and other cosmetic services.


Q: Is Orthodontia discounted? What are the Orthodontia services? If yes, is Invisalign braces discounted?
Orthodontia services are included as shown on the fee schedule. Invisalign braces are discounted 15% off of the normal fee.


Q: Is this insurance?
No, it is a discount fee for service dental plan and is in no way considered insurance.


Q: Can I change my dentist once I am in the plan?
Yes, you may change to any participating dentist at any time for any reason by contacting the Beta Health Administrative Office.


Q: My dentist isn't currently in the directory. What can I do?
You can contact your dentist, tell them that you really enjoy seeing them but they are not in our network. Have them call us to see how they can become a participating provider.


Q: How long does it take to process my application?
Two business days. Enrollments must be received by the 25th of the month to have coverage effective the first of the following month.


Q: When will I receive my membership package and what will it include?
I.D. cards are ran on the 1st and 15th of every month. You will receive them within four business days after these processing dates. You do not need an I.D. card to utilize services.


Q: If I choose to pay by credit card, what will my credit card statement read?
It will say “Beta Health Association”.


Q: If I choose to pay by Bank Account Draft (ACH), what will my bank statement read?
It will say “Beta Health Association”.


Q: Is the processing fee billed separately or with the plan payment?
It is billed separately after the first initial payment.


Q: Can I change my payment type once I am in the plan?
You can change the payment method at any time but it must stay consistent from that point on.


Q: If I started with monthly payment, can I change it to annual payment at a later date?
You may change from monthly to annual by calling our Customer Service Department.


Q: Do the applicant name and the billing name need to be the same?
No. Payment may be paid on behalf of someone else.


Q: What if I need to change my membership from Individual to Family?
You can do this by calling the Beta Health Administrative office.


Q: How do I add or cancel membership for additional members?
You can do this by calling the Beta Health Administrative office.


Q: If I cancel the policy, will I receive a refund of the payment or processing fee?
No. You can only cancel the plan on a payment date. The processing fee is non-refundable.
