About the Provider...

The Northeast Dental Plan, a premier dental PPO, was founded in 1981 by Dr. Bruce Sherman as a cost-effective solution to the rising expense of traditional dental indemnity coverage. Recognizing the need for an alternative to dental insurance, Dr. Sherman called upon his experience as a practicing dentist, faculty member at NYU college of Dentistry, and Dental Director for two healthcare organizations to design an accessible and affordable dental program. As a pioneering force in the discounted fee-for-service concept, the NDP provides dental coverage to thousands of individuals through a winning combination of personal choice, quality care, and customer service. Northeast Dental Plan is now joined by Southeast Dental Plan in Florida and are both affiliates of Dentalsave, America. Inc.

For the convenience of the corporation, the NDP-SDP employs cutting edge computer technology and highly trained staff to administer all membership services promptly and courteously. For the convenience of the employee, membership benefits begin immediately without a waiting period. When paying a provider, there are no claim forms, deductibles or annual maximums about which to be concerned. Members receive their dental care in the comfort of private practice setting selected from one of over 5,000 dentists and specialists qualified to serve on our provider panel. And most importantly, fees charged by the NDP-SDP providers are discounted 15% to 50% off usual dental fees.
